Crovanto (Pty) Ltd is a private company based in Bloemfontein, South Africa. We specialize in software development ranging from deep packet inspection and manipulation solutions for high volumes of network traffic to business driven databases and web solutions. Our customers include some of the leading companies in South Africa and abroad.

Our team comprises of highly qualified and experienced network and information technology specialists. The management team has complimentary sets of knowledge and skills ranging from business management; software development to network engineering.

Directors
Janse Tolmie has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and is a university professor. He has presented at several IT conferences around the world, lectured in South Africa and the USA and did research in Canada. Janse led the development of software that is in use by prominent institutions in South Africa.

Johan van Rooyen has a Masters Degree in IT Management. He has lectured at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein and DePaul University in Chicago and featured as an invited speaker on a Microsoft (South Africa) conference. He is an expert programmer and has extensive knowledge of web technologies, databases and mobile computing.

Beyers Cronje is an internationally accredited Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) and holds numerous other IT qualifications. He has extensive experience in large network design, implementation and consultation, and specialises in Internet Protocol Communication services. Beyers is a skilful programmer, adept in programming both conventional software and advanced network solutions. He played a prominent role in the design and development of Crovanto’s deep packet inspection and manipulation networking platform.
